Book Swap
Books that are outdated or in poor condition can be taken to any of the District Drop-Off Centers for recycling. Books are accepted anytime the site is open. Please give the books to the attendant on duty.

Note:October is Book Swap Month!! Residents are encouraged to set aside their gently-used books and swap them in October for "new" books at any library branch in Spencer County

Computers
More and more computer manufacturers and retail electronic stores are participating in the "take back" programs for old computers. When you are in the market for a new computer ask about their "take back" policy.

When it is not possible to participate in a "take back" program bring your old computer equipment, to the District to be recycled.

Computer equipment is ONLY accepted at the office/warehouse facility which is located east of the Chrisney Drop-Off Center. (Click here directions)

Phone Books

Phone books are collected in the spring of the year. Watch for special programs and announcements.
